Oil & Gas Sector of Pakistan & Sustainable Development

Pakistan is undergoing the worst shortage of oil, gas and electricity. The reason behind this is improper channelizing of energy, fewer exploration activities in oil and gas sector, inappropriate distribution of resources, poor management, unstable law and order situation and bad governance. Since the oil & gas sector has a massive share in the country's economic growth this sector holds great significance. Development of oil and gas sector is the key to boost up a country's economic growth. In order to fulfill the energy needs of the economy it is essential to improve law and order situation in the country for the sake of attracting foreign investments, promote & encourage proper optimization of the resources, inculcate improvement in the government policy focus, focus on adequate rationalizing of oil and gas prices & opt for effective management for utilization of resources.In this book a complete statistical data analysis have been given for oil & gas sector of Pakistan and the prospect for sustainable growth in the country.
