Older Workers
Details
Brazil will be the sixth largest country in the world in terms of the number of elderly people by 2025. Reflecting on work-related issues is therefore necessary, especially from the point of view of the profile of elderly workers and the reasons that lead them to continue working after retirement. That's why this book sought to shed light on the reasons that led elderly men to remain in the labour market after retirement, as well as characterising the socio-economic profile of this population. Themes such as these contribute to society by highlighting the feelings reported by the elderly about their perceptions of health or symptoms of illness after retirement.
