On The Agglomeration Economies

The book presents some theoretical models supported by the microfoundations of agglomeration economies, such as models of labor pooling, learning and matching. Briefly discusses the results of empirical studies on the matter. The book also presents the relationship between agglomeration economies and some interesting aspects such as economic growth, environmental sustainability, the structure of cities and the service industries.
