One Call Health For All

Increasing disease burden and Incidence of new types of diseases across the geographies globally has lead to a quest for solutions that are sustainable, feasible and can be generalized as well. The use of mobile and wireless technologies to support the achievement of health objectives (mHealth) has the potential to transform the face of health service delivery across the globe. Healthcare institutions especially in developing countries are attempting to further reduce the cost and improve the effectiveness of their healthcare systems .In this book, authors proposes a model, named One call- Health for all that puts forward a promising solution to the issue of inaccessibility and unaffordability for basic health problems in rural as well as urban areas, for those having a smart phone and also for those having just a basic mobile phone. The book further examines components, benefits, constraints and challenges of the model as a whole in detail. Likewise, potential and features of mobile technology as well as opportunity for mobile network operators in relations to Healthcare industry has been uncurtained through factual data and contemplations.
