Open Source Way to Manage Service Lifecle

This publication is based on the diploma thesis which goal was to create a web based application for managing service lifecycle - a concept defined in Service Oriented Architecture Governance. The application is also a practical demonstration of how can various JBoss open-source projects integrate between themselves. The text of book describes the context, analysis and implementation of this application and also shows how can the resultant application be used by specific representatives in the SOA Governance environment. The source code of the application is publicly accessible on a GitHub repository.

Anton Giertli finished his studies with a diploma thesis focusing on a Service Oriented Architecture and Business Process Management. Currently he is a part time lecturer of BPM course at Masaryk University, Brno and full time employee at Red Hat, leading open source company, where he focuses on customer support in BPM field.
