Optical Soliton in Photonic Crystal Fibers

This work contains a study of the soliton phenomena in photonic crystal fibers and its appearance and continuity in the fibers depending on the photonic crystal parameters. It was depend on the geographic arrangement of the photonic crystal especially the holes number, hole- hole spacing and holes diameter and its effect on refractive index and the dispersion of the photonic crystal fiber, and the effect of the fiber parameters on the pulse like the absorption, dispersion and nonlinearity studied also. As the soliton appearance depending on the balance between the dispersion and the nonlinearity, the effect of these parameters on the soliton is studied.
