Optimal and economic operation of power system

The optimal and economic operation of power system is very important for stability and security of electrical power. For quality and efficiency it is necessary for power plant to give the revenue and capital investment by knowing the state of electrical power system.It is found that for be economic dispatch any change increase in cost due to the any change of load among the units must be calculated. Never the less of economic operation the loads must be shared to the units according to the fuel cost. High efficiency of the generators reduces the price of kwh for the consumer, fuel cost, workers and generation. For hydro thermal plants, the hydro plant operators for long periods,So consumption of fuel for the thermal plants operation is reduced.
