The main objective of this book is to present some of the Optimal Placement methods of Unified Power Quality Conditioner (U.P.Q.C.) in Radial Distribution Systems. Within the scope of this book, the optimal UPQC placement problem is solved for the objective of Power Loss Minimization (PLM) and Voltage Deviation Minimization (VDM) and analyzed with various optimization methods. This book is divided into five chapters.

Dr. Mule Laxmidevi Ramanaiah is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of E. E. E., Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE), Hyderabad, India. She received her Ph.D. degree in E.E.E. from S. V. University, Tirupati in 2019. She has 7 years of teaching and research experience. She has published 15 papers in peer-reviewed Journals.
