Oskar Werner (geboren 1922 in Wien, gestorben 1984 in Marburg an der Lahn), eigentlich Josef Bschließmayer gab bereits im Alter von 18 Jahren sein Bühnendebüt am berühmten Wiener Burgtheater, dessen Ensemble er bis 1949, 1951-55 und 1960-61 angehörte. Seine anschließende internationale Filmkarriere führte ihn bis nach Hollywood.
