Adam Adebayo Sirajudeen ha enseñado lengua y literatura árabe en el Departamento de Estudios Árabes e Islámicos de la Universidad Estatal de Kogi, en Anyigba (Nigeria). Tiene una licenciatura, una maestría y un doctorado en árabe de las universidades de Ilorin, Ahmadu Bello y Jos (Nigeria), respectivamente, y se interesa por la historia y la historiografía de la literatura afroárabe.
