Organic and Conventional Tef production in Northern Ethiopia

Tef give many advantages to Ethiopian small scale farmers , due to this its cultivation increased year to year. It is one of the major cash sources for the majority of farmers. In addition to high market value it has a lot of desirable characteristics among the listed important traits,higher nutritional value, less damage by insects pests and it can store for along period of times, drought tolerant crop, better adaptive to marginal area and high straw value.
