Organization Culture and Innovation

Every organization has a exclusive culture that drives the form, degree, and speed of innovation. Organization culture is a backbone to organization's success. We measure success in terms of return on investment. But what is the key driver for ROI. It is innovation. To survive and perform in the cut throat competition one has to be innovative. If the organization culture can prop up innovation it is bound to be successful. An innovative organization has various benefits like creative work culture which increases job satisfaction. in promoting innovation organization culture should also promote risk taking, cross functional team building wherein employees from different functional areas come together and enjoy organizational support. Organization culture should foster "Entrepreneurial skills" in the employees. To motivate future entrepreneurs should be a prime focus of organization culture.
