Organization Theory

This is a very fascinating book in that it focuses on both the managers of the various organizations as well as the trainers and trainees in the universities and colleges. It has a unique design and structure as it brings out the theories, their characteristics, advantages, disadvantages and criticisms. It has demonstrated the linkage between the theories and the development of organization structures and designs. It has attempted to consider various concepts such communication, organization change, organization development, international strategies in corporate life-cycle, downsizing and right sizing and even merger, acquisition and restructuring as the way to apply the various theories in the organization operations. The book has also considered technology as critical component for successful application of a given theory towards the achievement of organization objectives.
