Osseointegration in Dental Implants

This book gives a comprehensive outlook for osseointegration and its process as soon as dental implant is placed in the bone. Osseointegration is prerequisite for a successful implant. The implant has gained importance with the work of Professor Per Ingvar Branemark. He and his colleagues in 1950s and 1960s, while examining microcirculation of bone and wound healing through means of vital microscopy. So this is a compilation of researches done on the osseointegration process and the methods to check primary stability.
