Lakota "Chloe" VanHoren wakes up one morning to find her whole world turned upside down. At first sight, she falls in love with her mentor, although he doesn't feel the same-or does he? and dates Drake, the Devil's own son. If that wasn't complicated enough, she has to lead a war against her true kind in order to protect humans. And who is the mysterious man that keeps coming to her in her dreams?
