Ottoman Empire`s Role in the Emergence of the `European` World System

This work focuses on the Ottoman Empire's position in the World System. As a Turkish Kurd, I am presenting a unique perspective on the Ottomans who propelled the emergence of the World System. As a result of being located at the crossroads between the East and the West, the Ottoman Empire underpinned the spread of the World System, which continued until today.Reading this work, which is looking at the beginning of the World System, will help you understand the direction our World is taking and why the current politically and economically strong states are urging to re-shape the World System.
