Outsourcing for Service Organizations

This book enclosed information about managerial factors on outsourcing success in services sector. Theoretical arguments were built based on Social Exchange Theory. Accordingly, the role of contractual and relational governance is described with empirical evidence from Sri Lankan banking and hotel sector data. The book mainly argued the importance of Partnership Quality and compatibility in business to business exchange and suggested to embark on relational governance where it provides a platform to be compatible to each other for a successful supply chain. The book also provides evidence for sustainable supply chain via utilizing interdependency of firms correctly to enjoy mutual benefits in business.

Dr. Nilakshi WK Galahitiyawe is a Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of Decision Science, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She obtained her doctoral degree from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in the field of supply chain management in year 2013. She engages in teaching and research in the field of supply chain management.
