Outsourcing in Health Tourism Businesses

Today businesses are trying to make some applications in order to survive against increasing global competition and rapid change. One of these applications is outsourcing for outside functions of core business. The purpose of this research is to identify the reasons of outsourcing in health tourism businesses and the activities that are using outsourcing. Health tourism businesses are medical institutions that provide medical services (hospitals, medical centers, health centers, etc.) and businesses that provide complementary health services (Thermal, Spa & Wellness, Thalasso, and elderly care homes). Businesses need outsourcing to reduce their costs, competition, service quality, satisfaction and reduce various risks. In addition, outsourcing provides the advantages such as flexibility in health tourism operations, focusing on core competencies, and becoming a successful business.
