Splendid illustrations and Explanations of outstading topics in Syntax The goals of this volume were to give a unified account of LD anaphora in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, and to provide a principled account of structural Case on adverbial DPs in the Minimalist framework. The basic questions related to the topics were "how can the two kinds of subject orientation and the presence or the absence of the blocking effect for these Asian LD anaphors be explained?" and "how can structural Case on frequency adverbials and duration adverbials be dealt with in the Minimalist framework?" By providing in-depth insights into the nature of anaphors and adverbial Case-assigned DPs, this volume contributes to the uncovering of some of the Principle-oriented operations of the human mind. The reader will find logical development of inner linguistics operations of the principles suggested in this volume, thereby capturing some of the enlightening aspects of anaphora and adverbial Case!
