Overcoming or limiting distances

This book offers a compilation of scientific contributions that have been published on the subject of education in general and the Senegalese school in particular. This approach seems to us to be more likely to interest a wider public outside of basic research circles. In our opinion, the enormous challenges facing developing countries, including Senegal, are justifications for a real concern to decompartmentalize research, teaching and intervention.

Autor de livros e artigos sobre as questões da escola e das mudanças climáticas, Cheikh FAM é doutor em sociologia. Atualmente é pesquisador do Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisa de Gênero, Meio Ambiente, Religião e Migração (GERM) da Universidade Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis, no Senegal.
