The Owen Sound North Stars are Junior "B" box lacrosse team from Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. The North Stars play in the OLA Junior B Lacrosse League. The Owen Sound junior lacrosse team first appeared, statistically, in the second year of the short history of the Ontario Lacrosse Association's Junior "C" league. Led by future coach Mark Kazarian and heavily skilled David Cruikshank, the Satellites started a string of four straight finals appearances and three straight Ontario Junior "C" Championships. Competing against the Orangeville Stingers and the Orillia Lions, both future OLA Junior A Lacrosse League teams, the Owen Sound franchise was not short on competition.
