P2P streaming for mobile on-demand communication

This thesis focuses on the development of a framework for P2P streaming in mobile networks and the analysis and evaluation of the technological environment. Topics covered in this context: - Fundamentals of P2P networks (topologies and data distribution) - Communication across network boundaries (NAT, port forwarding, STUN, TURN and ICE) - Technology analysis for video transmission in P2P networks (network performance, codecs and containers, streaming technologies, media frameworks) - Framework concept and implementation.
