He ended up in sixth place with the Men''s National Team at the 2002 FIVB Men''s World Championship, where he was named Best Receiver of the tournament. Meana is a two-time Olympian (2000 and 2004) for his native country.Volleyball is an Olympic team sport in which two teams of 6 players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team''s court under organized rules. This article focuses on competitive indoor volleyball; numerous other variations of volleyball have developed, most notably the Olympic spin-off sport beach volleyball.
