Papers in Critical Discourse Analysis

This book is a collection of research papers relating to the highly influential topics of critical discourse analysis. Critical discourse analysis is an interdisciplinary approach which addresses language as a form of a social practice. It investigates how societal power relations are produced and reproduced through language use. It is able to adequately produce insights to the way discourse resists social and political inequality power abuse or domination. Prof. Dr. Abbas Deygan Darweesh holds B.A. in English Language and Literature, M.A. in applied linguistics and Ph.D. in general linguistics. He went to the University of Northampton(UK)and met all the requirements for a postdoctoral research in language and cultural studies in 2015. He published 30 articles in national and international journals.
