Employee participation in managerial decision making is claimed to influence the performance of the organization positively however the absence of employees' involvement in managerial decision-making process could result in job dissatisfaction which probably could lead to lack of employee citizenship behavior. Moreover, it addresses the variation in the degree of participation in relation to employee demographic characteristics.
