Participatory Forest Management in Hindukush region Chitral, Pakistan

The participatory or joint forest management (JFM) in KP and Chitral rules were made under the provision of section 98,99,100,101,102 and 103 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa forest ordinance, 2002, which apply to such areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which the government may specify. Under this program the participatory forest management was installed in Hindukush Region Chitral Pakistan. the impact of participatory forest management on the socioeconomic status of the local people has been discussed in this book.
