This book is a study of patchwork as a technique of sewn assemblies based on its contribution to artistic creation and clothing.It is a study of the history of patchwork and the expansion of patchwork in the West, particularly in France, England and the United States of America, where it had its golden age, the various assembly techniques and types of patchwork, and the manual skills that gave rise to the artistic creation that patchwork became an artistic expression.

Née en 1992 à Sousse, Dr. Amel Cheriaa est une jeune Fashion Designer et enseignante universitaire contractuelle. Elle a eu sa thèse de doctorat de l'Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Sousse après avoir eu son master de recherche de l'Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Tunis.
