A pilot project on pathological and molecular studies on canine viral diseases like canine parvovirus, canine distemper virus, canine coronavirus and Infectious canine hepatitis and systemic infection related to pathological changes in Aizawl, Mizoram was studied during M.V.Sc since no pathological and molecular studies was not carried out before and pets animal mainly dogs plays an important role in the society. Our study provides a base line data on canine viral diseases. During the study period, tissues samples was collected from Private Veterinary Hospital and clinics located at Aizawl Mizoram. Necropsy examination was conducted at the Department of Veterinary Pathology, C.V.Sc. & A.H. Selesih which was brought for postmortem examination.

He did his BVSc & AH in 2011, MVSc (Veterinary Pathology) in 2016 and PhD in 2022 from Madras Veterinary College, TANUVAS, Chennai. He is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Veterinary Pathology, Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar, Punjab, India.
