Patrimonial value of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bolivia

This study summarizes in a documented manner the process of identifying the heritage values of the historic center of the city of La Paz. As will be seen, some of these values prevail and are maintained, while others have already disappeared or are at risk of doing so, justifying the dedication of efforts to undertake preservation or recovery actions. The study includes, as relevant elements, the monuments that represent a period identity that favors and contributes to the formal and aesthetic component of the city.

Arquiteta formada pela Universidade São Francisco Xavier, com um mestrado em História da Arte (Oxford Brookes University) e em Avaliação e Gestão do Património Histórico (Universidade de Salamanca). A sua carreira combina a docência universitária e a gestão académica. Desenvolveu projectos de conceção arquitetónica e de reabilitação do património.
