Peak Flow Measurement by Piezo

A Spirometer is a device which is used to measure the flow of breath in and out of the lungs. The results from a Spirometry help to determine if a person is suffering from any airflow problems such as COPD, asthma etc. Even though there are many types of Spiro meters available in the market, still the challenge remains to develop Spirometer having features such as low cost, portable and user friendly. This work aims to describe an air flow and volume measurement in Spirometer by using of piezo film sensor.
