With a degree in Physical Culture, Master in Community Physical Activity and PhD in Physical Culture Sciences, she works as a teacher-researcher at the University of Las Tunas. She directs the Cuba Chapter of the Ibero-American Pedagogy Network and is a member of the Education and Sports Researchers Network, standing out in the academic field.
