People Management Models

With the evolution implied by globalization, through business management techniques and methods, the task of managing companies has become increasingly complex due to the growth of the range of aspects inherent in the process of managing, especially the people aspect, which becomes from simple operators of standardized procedures to collaborators of knowledge and aggregators of value through continuous improvements, which is why for the challenge of managing in a scenario of rapid change it is perceived that the answer lies in people and in the application of a model that is efficient and strategic for companies. The aim of this work is to analyze the People Management models described in the literature, from publications in the annals of the Revista de Administração Contemporânea - RAC over the last five (5) years, from 2010 to 2015, with the aim of showing which models are practiced in Brazilian companies, observing characteristics and forms of application, so that through the definitions studied it is possible to understand the need to apply one or other of these management models in order to make better use of human capital and its potential.
