Perceptions of experiences, water birth

Water birth is a technique that serves as an alternative way of naturalising childbirth, in which the mother is intended to be more comfortable, relaxed and feel completely confident and harmonious at the moment of giving birth, in addition to the different advantages for both mother and child. The water birth process presents a lower level of pain due to the effect of immersion in warm water, helping the woman to feel relaxed, favouring the production of endogenous oxytocin, avoiding the need to use this hormone synthetically.
