Perceptions of unemployment and hiring opportunities for new graduates

Perceptions du chômage et possibilités d'embauche de nouveaux diplômés (Perceptions of unemployment and recruitment opportunities for new graduates) is a work that highlights the difficulties associated with the socio-professional integration of graduates, especially university graduates, in an already saturated labour market where recruitment opportunities are virtually non-existent. With unemployment having become the backbone of Congolese society, and of Lushoise society in particular, graduates are being called upon to develop strategies for getting round unemployment in its entirety.

Serge ILUNGA MUAMBA graduated from the Faculty of Social, Political and Administrative Sciences in the Department of Sociology at the University of Lubumbashi in 2018, where he was a Laureate. He has been a researcher and investigator for the Laboratoire de Recherche en Sciences Sociales, Economiques et Politiques (LARSEP) since 2019.
