Perceptual video quality metrics
Details
The evaluation of the quality of still images and video sequences is a current research topic. In this context, we are interested in metrics with references, semi references and without references. The use of the contrast sensitivity function (CSF) may be necessary in the part related to the metric with reference. The no reference metric part includes the block effect estimation. The part related to the semi reference metric includes the estimation of the blur effect.
