Performance Analysis of STTC Over Different Fading Channels

Fading causes the decrease in reliability of communication between different users. MIMO technology which uses multiple receive and transmit antennas has been used to offset this reliability issue. MIMO technology increases the capacity compared to SISO. Use of coding and diversity can increase the system performance by a huge margin. The STTC coding is used to solve this reliability issues as it provides both coding and diversity gain. This book analyses the performance of STTC over Rayleigh fading channel and Rician fading channel under different states and different diversity orders. STTC have attraction over other codes because it have both diversity and coding gain. Analysis of the code construction for a good STTC coding is an important issue that have received a tremendous emphasis. STTC coding over the two fading channel scenario is made here for different diversity order.
