Performance of GFRP composites under various Environmental Exposures

Numerous contributions of the researchers have gave birth to find some challengeable materials with some distinguished properties, which can perform their usefulness in several environmental conditions. Now-a-days, composite material has become a material of choice for the above mentioned purpose. In the recent century, glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) composites have categorized under advanced materials for the use in structural applications, offshore oil plant, desalination plant, aerospace and marine engineering applications, automotive and ship building industries and many more. Therefore, it is imperative that these materials are evaluated under the stringent environmental conditions to which they ought to be exposed during their life time.

Mr. A. P. Chakraverty is graduated in Science from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha in 2004. He has passed M.Sc degree in Physics from Ravenshaw College, Cuttack, Odisha in 2006. He has been awarded the Master of Technology (Research) degree from NIT, Rourkela in 2011. Now, he is continuing his doctoral research in NIT, Rourkela since 2011.
