This book is designed exclusively for the community which has the greater interest in evaluating the performance of stock exchanges in India with a special reference to the BSE Limited. The entire book may be divided into four sections. The first section of book gives introduction of the topic of the subject with significance of stock market, genesis, administration, listing rules, trend in growth in terms of number of stock exchanges, number of listed companies, number of registered brokers and foreign institutional investors (FIIs). The second section has laid emphasis on the analysis of protection of investors in the BSE Limited. The third section deals with volatility in stock prices of the BSE limited expressed by Sensex and sectoral indices of the BSE and the performance of the BSE in terms of Capitalization, liquidation and turnover. The last section concluded with summary of findings, suggestions and hints for further research. He obtained M.Com(Gold medal).,M.Phil.,and PhD from S.V.Uniiaversity,Tirupati and MBA from Pondicherry University.He has cleared UGC-NET in Commerce and Management and APSET in Commerce. He was awardee of Doctoral Fellowship from ICSSR, New Delhi.Dr. Malepati has over 25 research papers and 3 books on his credit.
