PERI- IMPLANTITIS : A NEW PARADIGM

Peri-implantitis is an inflammatory disease affecting the surrounding soft and hard tissue around osseointigrated implant, which leads to bone loss and ultimately the implant failure. Bacterial infection and occlusal overloading are one of the important causative factors. This book highlights the different possible etiological factors, the disease pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of peri-implantitis.
