Persian Subtitling and Dubbing for Movies

The authors hope that this book will prepare the ground to get to know two significant types of translation strategies i.e. addition and deletion, which translators employ while translating a movie for dubbing purposes. Realizing these two techniques implemented in the dubbed movies and the affecting ethical and socio-cultural considerations would help translators to improve their work. Insufficiency of such a topic in researches would bring along suggestions for more researches in this field, and seems discussable, since it reveals a large piece of unknown questions in terms of driving forces behind this skill.
