Personality Patterns of Adolescents

Personality has been an area of interest since long. Many psychologists provide different framework of personality in order to explain the structure of personality. When a child born, has no personality, but as he grows his personality starts to develop. Personality development is influenced by many factors as heredity, environment, Socio- economic condition, childhood experiences and past experiences. One of the most important principal raw material of personality is temperament, the result of biological factors. On the whole temperament and background factors both effect on the development of child's personality. Personality changes according to the age. These changes are very important in adolescence stage. So it was thought that there must be relation between personality and temperament, personality patterns and background factors, temperament and background factors. In the present study, the researcher has tried to find out the personality patterns of adolescents in relation to temperament and background factors.
