Insects are found in all types of environment and they occupy little more than two thirds of the known species of animals in the world. Insects affect human beings in a number of ways. Many of them fed on all kinds of plants including crop plants, forest trees, medicinal plants and weeds. For understanding of the subject, the main aim of the present investigation was to prepare a checklist and a baseline database of the Insects diversity as well as pests of crops and their role in damaging the crops at the selected site Dodiyala Village, Jasdan. There were about 12 to 13 different Insects which damage the plants and various crops in Dodiyala village like Insects of Cotton, Insects of Chilli, Ground nut, Green beam and others. Insects deliver a host of ecological services fundamental to the survival of humankind. For instance, insects play an important role in plant reproduction. Insects play an equally vital role in waste biodegradation. Beetle larvae, flies, ants and termites clean up dead plant matter, breaking down organic matter until it is fit to be consumed by fungi and bacteria.
