The Petrarchan revival in Romantic England was a unique phenomenon which involved an impressive number of scholars, translators and poets. EDOARDO ZUCCATO is based in the English Dept at the Università IULM, Milan, Italy. He is co-editor (with Elinor Shaffer) of the Coleridge volume in 'The Reception of British and Irish Authors in Europe' series for Continuum, and his publications include several books in Italian and contributions to journals including Agenda and The Wordsworth Circle.
