Pharmacognostical Evaluation of Desmodium Gangeticum Linn

Desmodium gangeticum (Leguminosae) is a versatile plant with many features and considerable prospectives. Whole plant is employed as traditional medicine for the treatment of several disorders. This book highlights various quality parameters based on pharmacognostical & phytochemical evaluation. The investigations on pharmacognostical parameters of the leaves and stem would devise the Pharmacopoeial standards for this plant. Phytochemical investigations would assist in determining the chemical constituents of plant.
