With great pleasure, I present to the fifthsemester B.Pharm students this book on the Practical Manual of Pharmacognosy and Phytocemistry-II (Practical). Worldwide, pharmacy colleges and other establishments make extensive use of this text. Paper chromatography,thin layer chromatography, morphology, microscopy, powder microscopy, extracting the active principle from crude drugs, identifying and isolating volatile oils, and chemical tests for crude drugs produced in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry II (Practical) are all covered in the text.In order to strengthen the students' understanding of the fundamentals of medicinal plants, we have designed the book to highlight the practical aspects of the subject.
