Details

Traditional physiotherapy approach to treatment is exclusively based on exercise and the use of modalities. However, there is a paradigm shift in management of diseases and the consequent impairments to a combination of pharmacotherapy and physiotherapy. This book presents the findings of a study that sought the opinion of physiotherapists regarding the inclusion of pharmacology in baccalaureate physiotherapy graduate curriculum. The outcome showed that undergraduate pharmacology education obtained during baccalaureate physiotherapy training is crucial and has positive impacts on clinical practice of physiotherapists.
