In clinical analysis, interdisciplinarity is fundamental for accurate diagnostic tests, involving areas such as molecular biology, clinical chemistry, and microbiology. In the area of pharmacovigilance, interdisciplinarity is important for monitoring the effects of drugs after they are marketed, involving areas such as pharmacology, epidemiology, and statistics.
