Philip is not an ordinary boy-he's clever, curious, and just a little bit cheeky. He lives in a funny little town called Pebblewhit-on-the-Muddle with his cinnamon-scented mum, volt-warning dad, and giggle-powered baby sister, Dot. Philip doesn't just believe in stars-he wants to catch one!One night, when the stars twinkle brighter than ever, Philip decides to bring one down. He tries trampolines, helium balloons, and even a zipline spoon-hat plan, but none of them work. Just when he's feeling defeated, the stars whisper to him: they don't need to be caught-people just need to remember to look up.Inspired, Philip becomes a "Star-Pointer." He makes signs, gives out badges, and teaches everyone to find wonder in the night sky. Then one day, a shooting star zips across the sky and Philip begins wondering: are some stars meant to run away? He learns from books (and his baby sister Dot) that shooting stars and comets travel, not because they're escaping, but because they're on their own special journey.And so, Philip learns:You don't need to catch stars to feel their magic.You don't need a telescope to see your future.Sometimes, being kind is the greatest adventure of all.
