Philosophical themes in humanitarian discourse
Details
The idea of our lives? And that is constant labor. That labor which is for the maintenance of our physical existence (so - in most cases). And also that labor which is in aid of our prosaic, utilitarian labor: yes, it is, therefore, that labor which is of a spiritual nature. What is the substance of this labor? The development of the sense of Truth, Goodness and Beauty. Such development is made possible through constant contact with high art, and also through the experience of personal artistic creation. Artistic - this is in the broad sense of the word - exactly the same: artistic is that which is unconditionally true - it is that which is unconditionally accepted by our aesthetic sense. Aesthetic? And this is all that is created according to the law of beauty, - according to the law of the construction of all our beingness, which must be unconditionally in full agreement with that feeling, which is absolutely free from the influences/measures of the sober mind (= cold reason). The name of this feeling is....... - And try to build your life according to this very feeling. And it will come out then... - it will come out artistically, won't it? And if it's artistic, it means - and the highest happiness!
