How can we reconcile systematic observations of religion with the question of the human? This is the question guiding this volume, which foregrounds the problem of religious experience, how it is disseminated in society and culture, and how it is articulated in language. In dialog with philosophical anthropology, this book examines the role that religiosity can play in the lives of human beings.
